Harness Inspection

Fall Protection Equipment is required to be thoroughly examined on a regular basis and at a minimum of every 6 months.

This time limit may be reduced if the FPE is worn in hazardous conditions, while handling chemicals or subject to excessive wear or if recommended by manufacturer.

A thorough examination will also required after circumstances liable to have affected the integrity and safety of the FPE. This examination must be carried out by a competent person.

Safetech Safety Professionals offer a thorough examination service for working at height safety harnesses, lanyards and associated equipment. All items undergo a detailed examination. Our harness and lanyard Inspection service operates as either a convenient drop-in service or as an on-site service on your premises.

To use the drop-in service, simply call us on 07491 27786 to confirm availability, then either bring your equipment in for a "while-you-wait" service, or drop it off and agree a time/date to collect it again.

On-Site Service
If it would be more convenient or cost-effective for us to come to your premises to carry out the inspection, please call us on 07491 27786 with:

  • Details of your location(s)
