Course Objective
Provide understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) legislation and guidance for planning and coordinating H&S as additional responsibility to the current role assigned for an office-based work environment. Provide an understanding of the need for and contents of a safety statement, identifying the necessary policies and processes required to manage health and safety risks; identify common hazards and risks in the workplace, identify sources of guidance and advice on health and safety; identify the requirement to coordination risk assessments and to coordinate the investigation of accidents, provide an understanding of the preparation of H & S reports.
