Objectives of Course:

On completion participants will be able to

  • Understand Safe Erection and Dismantling Procedures to HD1004 Specification.
  • Understand the Principles of Accident Causation and Prevention.
  • Be aware of and understand Relevant Legislation.

  • Working at Heights - Current Legislation.
  • Alloy Tower Erection - Theory & Practical Training.
  • Tie-ins and Out Riggers.
  • Accident Causation and Prevention.
  • Revision and Assessment.

Who should attend this course:

This course is for anybody who uses aluminium tower scaffolding in the course of their work.

Certification Details:

Participants will be awarded a FAS CSCS Certificate of Training on successful completion of this course.

Candidate must have the following:

  1. SafePass Registration Card or CSR Card
  2. PPE (personal protective equipment), i.e. Hard Hat, High Visibility Vest, Steel Toe Capped Boots, Gloves.
  3. One Passport Photograph with signature on the back
  4. PRSE/PPS Number of National Insurance Number
  5. Trainee must be over 18
  6. Must be English speaking

Duration:

1 day - for experienced operator
