Driver CPC
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competency) was introduced across the EU from 10th September 2008 for professional bus drivers and 10th September 2009 for professional truck drivers.
Aim:
Its purpose is to set and maintain high standards of road safety, health and safety and driving among professional drivers (those who drive for a living) of buses and trucks
Who enforces Driver CPC?:
An Garda Siochana and the RSA transport Officers have the powers to enforce Driver CPC, under the law.

Prerequisites:
Candidates must hold a Full Bus Drivers License before 10th Sept 08 or hold Full Truck Driver License before 10th Sept 09; PPS number
