Safe Pass

All construction site and local authority workers (including apprentices and trainees) must ensure that they have a fundamental knowledge of health and safety and any worker who alters, interferes or changes any building must hold a current FÁS Safe Pass card. This requirement applies to all workers in the construction sector. Cards must be refreshed every 4 years.

Objectives

On successful completion of this course, the participants will:

Have an increased awareness of Safety within the Construction Industry
Be issued with a FÁS Safe Pass Registration card indicating that the holder has attended a formal course in health and safety awareness

Method of Training

Assessment/Certification

On successful completion of a written exam, participants will be issued with a FÁS Safe Pass card. Cards are issued and registered by FÁS.

Up to 20 people

Note:

Delegates who arrive late cannot be permitted to complete the programme.
All participants must bring 1 passport photo of themselves and their PPS Number on the day.
