Safe Pass

All construction site and local authority workers (including apprentices and trainees) must ensure that they have a fundamental knowledge of health and safety and any worker who alters, interferes or changes any building must hold a current FÁS Safe Pass card. This requirement applies to all workers in the construction sector. Cards must be refreshed every 4 years.

Objectives

On successful completion of this course, the participants will:

  • Have an increased awareness of Safety within the Construction Industry
  • Be issued with a FÁS Safe Pass Registration card indicating that the holder has attended a formal course in health and safety awareness

Method of Training

Assessment/Certification

On successful completion of a written exam, participants will be issued with a FÁS Safe Pass card. Cards are issued and registered by FÁS.

Up to 20 people

We provide training at many locations nationwide. Training can be provided at your location on request. See below for our list of upcoming safe pass courses.

Note:

  • Delegates who arrive late cannot be permitted to complete the programme.
  • All participants must bring 1 passport photo of themselves and their PPS Number on the day.
