This course provides construction site safety training with practical demonstrations using bench grinders and angle grinders. Where time allows, a visit to the workshop will take place. Videos, overheads and flipchart discussions are used throughout the course.
Objectives
On completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
List their legal requirements under the Construction Regulations 20site_safety and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005
Identify the types of hazards that exist on a construction site
Identify and comply with their statutory requirements for all examinations, testing and inspections
Conduct their duties in relation to health and safety with increased confidence
