Toolbox Talk

A toolbox talk is a short safety talk, used as part of continuous training in the workplace. It is very common in the construction industry to refresh employees awareness of health and safety training. The topic should be related to the work that the employees are currently engaged in i.e. to the point and specific.

The toolbox talk should be no longer than 10 minutes and be held at the work area i.e. avoid formal settings like training rooms. There should be an opportunity for employees to ask questions at the end of the talk. Attendance should be recorded.

Safetech Safety Professionals offer the toolbox talk as part of our standard site audit service.
