Description
This comprehensive two hour course is instructor led and contains a video. All participants will be able to practice CPR on the manikin. The atmosphere of the class is relaxed to help promote a positive and enjoyable learning experience.
Family & Friends CPR is ideal for:
• Community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, school groups and students
• volunteers, parent-teacher organizations, or neighborhood or condo associations
• workplace wellness programs
• gyms and fitness centers
Content
You will learn and practice CPR for adults, children and infants on individual manikins using a face mask or shield. You will learn and practice with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). You will also learn how to relieve choking due to a foreign-body obstruction.
Method of Delivery
Classroom presentation, demonstrations and discussions are held throughout course. Course handouts, training records, evaluation forms are also provided.
Certification
Participants will receive an Irish Heart Foundation attendance slip.
