The purpose of this 3 day course is to provide instruction and training so that participants can be successfully certified in the safe use of a 360 Excavator, in keeping with regulations.
Under the 2006 Construction Regulations all machine operators operating on construction sites must have a valid CSCS card for particular machines. This course will give them the required knowledge on how to minimise the risk of accidents in their workplace while operating machines.
This is a three day introduction for beginners to learn the basic operations of the 360 Excavator
Day One: Induction for new entrants
Day Two: Introduction to the 360 Excavator
Day Three: 360 Excavator Operations
The Programme will consist of classroom sessions of underpinning knowledge relating to 360 Degree Excavator operations, and operation of the 360 Degree Excavator.
On completion of this programme there are certain tasks within the logbook which must be completed. You are required to spend a minimum of six months operating the machine within a two year timeframe before you can apply for your CSCS Card. Once the log book is completed you must attend an additional 1 Day Assessment in order to receive your experienced ticket which is valid for 5 years.

Following this 3 day programme A SOLAS Logbook will be issued to each participant on this course. A Training Card will be issued to each participant directly from SOLAS.
